Liberia’s newly nominated Minister of State for Presidential Affairs, Honorable Samuel A. Stevquoah, delivered a remarkable keynote address at the International Women’s Forum, held at the Women’s Pavilion and hosted by the Republic of Liberia Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka.
In his address, Hon. Stevquoah spoke about the President’s ARREST Agenda, highlighting that women and girls are at the center of this transformative vision. He emphasized the indispensable role of women in nation-building, stating, “A bird cannot fly with one wing. This speaks directly to the importance of women in every society. Men and women are the two wings of the bird, and only when they work together and stand together can a nation truly soar.”
Through his remarks, the Minister underscored not only the immense value of women’s contributions but also Liberia’s unwavering commitment to gender equality and women’s empowerment on the global stage. He further noted that supporting women is not merely a matter of justice, but a key driver of sustainable development, peace, and prosperity.
Hon. Stevquoah also expressed gratitude to Ambassador Juli Endee for her leadership in steering Liberia’s participation at this international event and for her outstanding work in organizing a successful and impactful Women’s Forum.
The International Women’s Forum at Expo 2025 provided a powerful platform to showcase Liberia’s vision of inclusivity, reinforcing the idea that when women rise, the nation rises with them.
